Renewable Energy Testing Services
World Cal, along with its sister companies, Liberty Labs and Iron Eagle
Technologies, is excited to announce newly acquired testing capabilities for
renewable energy sources. (View some of our test fixtures

This move comes at a time when renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind,
are moving into the forefront as alternatives to fossil fuels to feed our energy
needs world-wide.
World Cal is not only a testing facility for certification to UL and IEC
standards for these products, but also a consumer. We have multiple solar arrays
installed at our facilities, and have plans to install over 300 kW of solar
production over the coming years, and are working on switching our corporate
fleet over to electric vehicles where possible.
We are on a timeline to provide accredited testing to the following standards by
mid-July, 2010:
- UL 1703
- UL 1741
- IEC 61730
- IEC 61215
- IEC 61646
- IEC 1547
- IEC 62116
- IEC 61000-3-2 and IEC 61000-3-3
Successful completion of all pertinent standards will qualify your product for
the GREAT mark, signifying it is a product of great quality and craftsmanship.
We seek to provide higher accuracy, increased data points, and quicker
turnaround times than our competitors, to get your product on the market as
quickly as possible.
